Michelle A. Hauser is a family law attorney with 19 years with extensive expertise in discovery and complicated child custody cases. She’s handled countless family law cases, including: guardianship, adoptions, divorce, child support, child custody, visitation rights, and domestic violence. This acquired knowledge makes her capable of recommending strategies that lead to positive outcomes. Michelle is highly respected by her peers and is known as an excellent family law attorney throughout the Nevada legal community. She holds highly regarded positions as secretary in the Family Law Bench Bar Committee for the Eighth Judicial District Court and Former Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary of Nevada Family Law Section Executive Counsel. Her impressive resume also includes work as a contributing author for various legal publications, preparing legal briefs for Supreme Court cases and teaching family law to attorneys in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses. In addition, she has previously  served on the CLE Committee and the Law Referral Information Service for the State Bar of Nevada. Prior to her current endeavors, she held prestigious positions as Truancy Diversion Judge.

Michelle is well-versed in family law, having received training in Parenting Coordination, child interviews and completing the American Bar Association (ABA) Family Law Advocacy Institute. She has demonstrated a commitment to service in the community and it earned her the Clark County Pro Bono Project 100 Hours Club Award.

Michelle previously served as the Managing Partner of the law firm Throne & Hauser, before joining Jones & LoBello.  This provides her with an in depth understanding of business and finances, in addition to allowing her to do what she enjoys most:  dedicating herself to clients as she rigorously and aggressively advocates for their interests.

She has helped hundreds of clients successfully resolve their cases in the local Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada legal systems. This experience gives her unique insights on working with different judges and procedures, so she knows how to best navigate each case.
